Continuing my series about the birds seen earlier this month in Fuerteventura,one of the Canary Islands:
The White Wagtail (Motacilla alba) is a small passerine bird in the wagtail family Motacillidae, which also includes the pipits and longclaws. This species breeds in much of Europe and Asia and parts of north Africa.
La Bergeronnette grise (Motacilla alba), aussi appelée Hochequeue grise, est une espèce de petit passereau de la même famille que les pipits et la sentinelle. Cette espèce niche dans la plus grande partie de l'Europe et de l'Asie, ainsi que dans certaines parties de l'Afrique du Nord.
