Description
I am posting an orchid so it is easy to figure out that we were up in central Florida this weekend, visiting our youngest son. I have posted photos of his wife’s orchids before. This is her newest, an Oncidium orchid called Angel Cake or Ramona. Oncidium is part of a genus that contains about 330 species of orchids. It is a very tiny orchid and it was tough to photograph. They are only about in inch (2.5cm) in length. As with all her orchids, it hangs outside.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated.

Very lovely flower and a great shot - though I have to admit, the one thought that flitted through my mind was someone being awarded the Royal Order of the Oncidium Orchid Medal.....
you take great flowers shots dana.
Oh what a beautiful flower, love all the colors, my only suggestion would be to take the photo perhaps in the morning or when your light isn't quite so harsh.
