Description
I know it's been quite awhile since my last upload...but just haven't been feeling really good for some time.......then got really sick....went to ER here..they said I had a viral infection...tested me for the flu and pneumonia...couldn't find anything wrong..temp 103.8 did good to get there...got up next morning sicker than ever and hubby took me to Taylor Co ER...did same test my hospital here at home did.......and guess what? Pneumonia in the Right Lung...really bad...blood work all off......I was in there a week...Had to get blood...For 2 days no Television nothing...Just wanted to sleep...
Finally got to come home...had a check up 5 days later...all my blood work came back good except my Potassium was just one point off...which is good for me.....and Dr found out I had a touch of pleurisy in my right lung as well...it still hurts when I breathe..He had the results from my Pet Scan...It came back the same as what I had done 4 mos prior...My nodule hadn't gotten any bigger nor had it got any smaller...so all in all I guess is good news....We just know it's there..and we can't remove it and expose it to air...so I am still on the chemo pills.....they don't make me sick like the other ones did....thank heavens...Was supposed to seen the Oncologist yesterday for a report on the Pet Scan but my Dr had told me the results already...I had to cancel...I woke up with the worst migraine ever...Used to get them a lot..Rarely get them now...and boy was I sick....so had to re schedule...I now go March6th...will get my Xgeva injection...my port flushed..and listen to results I already know about...Thought I would post today as this is Leap Year Day...Mike (Mikeerson) and I was talking site mail said I should post on this magical day....It only comes around every 4 yrs..so thought I would get an image done on this day & I see I missed the boat on getting an image done on Feb 29th (Oh well that's me as of late)......Please forgive me if I have not commented on some of your images..some days I feel like getting on the computer and other days I am not on it all......I am getting better slow but sure.......it's just taking me more time I guess due to my condition I was already in.......so hope you all forgive me...I want to comment....it just wears me out to sit anymore since I have had the pneumonia....Posted my first poem the other night in weeks....I just tired so easy.........
I hope you like the Winter Moon image...I have had it done for some time...just not got around to posting it...see what I mean....probably took it over 2 months ago...just now uploading it....
Thank you for all the prayers...the site mails and the image dedi's that you have done for me...it means a lot.......I love all of you....
As usual all post work done on this image was in
PSP9....added border...frame..and text...
Thank you all for any comments you care to leave..and for those of you who favorite this image I thank you for that as well....I know you get tired of hearing this but please continue to keep me in your prayers...it means a lot...a friend of mine on my poetry site passed away while I was in the hospital and that upset me as he was my only lil brother on that site....we were close and he always read my poems and we chatted on Allpoetry site mail....so many people are dying...someone every day it seems....last week Whitney Houston...yesterday Davy Jones of The Monkeys....and they are so relatively young...
We've not had hardly any snow here in my lil hometown...we maybe have gotten an inch or two...and the crocus and daffodils are coming up..they don't even know its not spring yet...it's been the oddest winter I have ever seen......
So now I have rambled enough....Again just bear with me on the comments...I will get back in the swing soon hopefully...Thank you all for stopping by and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend....
I changed the title from Winter Moon to Harvest Moon....

This is a brilliant photo Susan, lovely moon! You are a brave lady my friend good bless you, my thoughts and prayers go with you! 10*
It's great to see you get your first image in for the year.... and to see all the well wishers come to comment - there are some here that I rarely see comment, so you should know you are well loved by the community. I read that they didn't want to let air get to that spot you talked about - I think that's why my Mom passed so early... she was healthy, she had climbed up on her cabin roof and fixed a leak around the age of 70... she knew I was on my way up to the cabin too, but that's how full of life she was.... I never seen my Mom laying around - NEVER... she'd go to bed about 12:30 and get up at 4:30.... she only needed 4 hours of sleep - that was her, that was normal.... she never slept in = full of life.... her insurance made her go in... feeling fine... saw a spot on her lungs and called it lung cancer, cut her open and a year and a half later she was gone.... I really feel she'd be with us still today, 11 years later if they wouldn't of cut her open.... personally, I would not let them touch that spot UNTIL you feel it's time and get more than one opinion - like you just did = doctors aren't magicians - they're janitors cleaning = and some don't do a very good job at all.... I'm glad I checked to see if you were posting and contacted you = I put alot of smiles on your friend's face's - I see that.... I missed getting my upload up on Leap day too - well, we have four years to get it right next time - lol
Beautiful Susan..take care and you are always in my prayers!!

A very beautiful moon.
First, Susan... I'm so sorry to hear about your latest health challenges. I really feel for you and you will be in my prayers. I'm sorry I haven't been 'on line' lately but I am on tonight and saw your most fabulous moon shot. So pretty. So cool. Please keep posting and keeping us all involved in how you are doing. I care. And I'm glad you're still plugging away and fighting to stay well. Big hugs!!!!
Utterly outstanding!
Really a GRRRRR-eat capture wow
Just beautiful. I love the moon and this is a fantastic image.
Sounds like your Pet Lab is doing OK Susan. ;) What is important is that you are feeling better, and that is Good News! Beautiful capture, now let's Pray the Sun Shines Through! Hugs
Glad to hear you are better. I was just thinking a couple of days ago that it had been a while since we had seen anything from you. Love the photo. I'm counting down the days to my "dark site" trip to try and photograph the Milky Way. I've had no luck with moon shots though. LOL. Enjoy the spring flowers. We still have winter to go here in the Northeast. (getting snow for my birthday...yuck.) Anyways. Hope to see more from you soon.
Never tire of looking at the Moon. Cool one Susan. Best wishes and hugs from Dave :^)
Really beautiful image, and PW is great too. I,ll keep you in my prayers and hope you get better soon.
Lovely shot dear Sis, I hope things will improve for you, what can I say else, take care!?!?
I was so glad to see that you had posted, though sorry to hear of all the pain and illness you have been having. I hope you are feeling better now. I greatly appreciate your taking the energy to post and give us an update on how you are doing. I keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry for the loss of your friend. Such a beautiful Harvest Moon! It glows with a warm golden light. The way you framed it is perfect. It draws the eye to the moon, but doesn't compete with it. Beautiful work!
So good to see a post from you sweet sis, I am sorry you have been so ill. I love your moon. Gentle Hugs. Di. xx
I appreciate every comment you give my artwork..But you should be resting as much as possible. You are missed when your keyboard is quiet but we all know that you are very busy fighting to get healthy. Thats FAR more important! The moon always speaks to me and I love this image. :)
I wish I could you give more than a prayer. But I will pray for them with my guardian angel for help. All the best Susan, big hugs Elke
Beautiful lunar capture!!
such a beautiful image!!! Susan, what a -horror-story... so glad you're doing a bit better now!!! (!) would you please, plsssssss do me a favor? and start focusing on LIFE, not death! sure there are lots of people dying, (so very sorry to hear about your friend!!!!!), but no one goes before his/her time! and prior to that -except for some that chose to come 'here' as 'angels', MHO, forgive me for that?- we all have choices, we do. things come unto our paths... for a reason? cures, options as well! your paradigm is a choice as are your thoughts. and they have 'some' impact on the body -therefore 'better use 'em well'-. in my -native- world, all is energy (Einstein! ;-)), ALL. only frequencies differ. in all the great 'teachings' that is stressed (e.g. Buddha said, “The mind is everything. What you think you become.” Bible: “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.”, etceteraaaaa) fear is never a friend!!! (what is good, feeels good!) Someone has done lots of people (in the 'normal world' ;-)) a favour by venting & summarizing all that in a book, a movie and another book... http://thesecret.tv/thepower/ which could be life-altering if that would be your choice, even 'life-giving'... I don't underestimate your burden, by no means!!! sincerely hope you'll understand what I'm trying to say (and nothing else...), it comes from the heart! I would so love to 'hear' you regained your health!!!!! since, of course, all is about YOU!!! seen so many 'miracles' happen, Susan, all 'impossible' acc. to doctors. know of so many cures!!! -on a fysical level-. (oldest example? http://www.whale.to/v/rife.html 100% cure rate. did they give him a medal? nope, they killed him for that!). I can only hope that perhaps you will feel like and maybe choose to read this (thePower) book and see what I mean? for starters... (and all you need can come unto your path... ) IMHO life is about Love... sending you loads & overloads of that & my very best, heartfelt wishes!!!
Lovely image and beautifully presented. always good to see you post :) I feel for you for all the misery you have been going through {{{hugs}} Very glad there is a bit of good in it though. I am also very happy that you are having signs of dpring.. i know how much that means to you. I do think about you and keep you in my prayers. {{{hugs}}}
