Description
...in Kansas City but the grass was green:-)
Photo taken from Liberty Memorial (National World War I Monument/Memorial/Museum) looking north past Union Station at the south side of Kansas City.
Was playing with Black & White but the grass was just too nice to leave colorless.

P.S. Worth a zoom.

I know where this place is, Todd used to live not to far.away from the park. Nice green grass.
Very good photo and great postwork
That's one heck of a nice mowing job. I like the selective colouring Bill.
Nice post work Bill, great capture also.. well done!!
Superb capture and coloring effect Bill. God Bless.
nice one my fiend
Very well done Bill! It was a great shot no matter what you did to it!
great view and idea with partly in gray !!
Super work Bill and the lines in the grass take you right into this great cityscape.
Oh wow ... this turned out great! I love the result. Nicely done, hon! :*
Great image and capture Hugs Susan~
I love it, like what you have done :o)
Kinda like old shot meets present day. Love what you have done with this Bill as B/W shots always look timeless to me, the only giveaway being the cars.
Black and white with the green work's very well-Terrific work
Clever, and even more surreal than Tara's off season. A rather lost opportunity for a wonderful garden in place of that monoculture.
what a startling contrast, plus lots of interesting detail.
Great view!
I like it! Very nice grass indeed!
outstanding manipulation
Now Bill? How did know I'd dragged the very same view out of the files and was about to post it in a day or two lol Is that freaky or what lol Was a fine view indeed and a great place for a visit.. You've made a really good job with the post work here.. Rob
love selective color! great image!!!
It is amazing. I thank you very much. 5+!
Wonderful very detailed cityscape with great lighting!!
Beautiful job with a beautiful photo. As you say, the grass looks too nice for a b/w representation. I'm glad to see Kansas City still has an old, classic grand train station. It sure stands out in this photo, as it does against all the modern buildings. Thanks fot the view of the city and station. The great lawn makes a beautiful vista for the station and city. Keep up the good work! :-)
A really beautiful work you have done to this, Bill. !
Over the top, off-the-charts POV, clarity, color selection, DOF and definition in this superb foto, Bill.
Hey! I recognize this place!!! :-D Considering I've been in 80% of the buildings pictured here at one time or another... I love the spot color here, Bill! This has an almost magical feel to it with all the green grass contrasting the monochrome of the rest of the photo. Great one, Bill! Hope to get by Union Station this spring/summer....
Really lovely your the magician :)
cool work
