Description
...between 1924 and 1974, 5,000,000 International Harvester (IH) Farmall tractors were built.
...found the beauty above at, of all places, an airshow. This is a completely restored 1950 IH McCormick Farmall, Model M.
...some horses and mules were still used for cultivating/plowing on farms in the US until after World War II.
...tractors such as these led to complete mechanization of even small, family farms.

That's a great restoration! Nice shot!
Love the selective coloring Bill! That bright red tractor literally jumps off the screen!
beautiful!!! b/w & red is stunning!
Cool subject and colouring :)
Looks like new. Beautifully restored and/or maintained. I love driving tractors and plowing fields, unfortunately I have only done it a couple of times while in Germany in 1969.
I like the sun shade and the lunch box..! Well done with the selective desaturation, Clive
Excellent selective coloring Bill and a great find. Beautiful restoration!
