Description
This is for Andrea, a rather strange bamboo to view. It was a seed last spring, this was taken today. The plant is in a 3 litre pot on the top of my freezer for photo purpose only. It has endured -10 degrees already this winter as it lives outside. I have about 10 seedlings this is the tallest some are shorter and bushy. That is natural from seeds. All have the long eyelashes in the leaf axils, about 3/4 inch long as seen in the close up. In the more tropical climate in can grow to huge. Yet it can survive such cold. A project for when global warming really gets hold of my garden!

A good job you said its a bamboo or I would have been bamboozled! Nice shots.
It is very well done. Thank you. 5+!
I've never seen those hairy bits on them before, wonder what their purpose is? Great capture!
Superb captures my friend. God Bless.
Wonderful to see what my babies will look like once they are hatched! Thankyou so much for all those seeds, Kevin!
