I am not my brother’s keeper
Is the hymn of the capitalist
The system only works
If no one gives a damn
About anyone but themselves
God forbid
If we try and get health care
To those who can’t afford it
If we give a man a fish
We feed him for a day
If we teach him how to fish
Oh screw it
He has to teach himself
Insider trading is only illegal
If you are not a congressman
It’s time again
For the same old tricks
Tell everyone how much you hate abortions
But you are also against birth control
And tell them that “they” want their guns
This will be enough to distract them
From the unemployment rate
From the soup kitchens and tent cities
Everyone cries the haves need more
So the crumbs can trickle down to the poor
Every time election time comes around I am amazed how we keep putting in the same old politicians who have been screwing us all the time back into office. We let them distract us with things that don’t really matter but somehow tug on our emotions. And the really sad thing is we will do it again. It seems like we never learn. I plan on putting a version of this in the local newspaper in the editorials. Wish me luck lol. I hope you don’t mind my rants.

This is excellent stuff dude and we should all say what matters most to us but it will all fall on deaf ears as always just so they can line their pockets with money we earn but u know how that goes steal from the poor man and give to the rich and powerful it will never change.
