Description

Slowly the night creeps into my soul The grim reaper is tapping at my window Its not his time to go to work Unless Unless I let him in early There is a great sickness That is trying to over take me My lungs burn with fire My brain pounds from within And my eyes My eyes are so tired But I cannot give up yet I have unfinished business And if I don’t complete it My soul will forever be trapped In the in between In between here and there So I have to hold on Until I can reach out With my finger tips And touch your face I am fighting the flu and I am getting better but I can’t help myself I have to be over dramatic lol. My kids call me a drama queen. Lol. I sure liked it better when they were young enough I could take them hahaha. I hope everyone likes my touch on the dark side as I try and get to feeling better. Thanks for everything Randy

Yep, sounds like the flu to me. Vivid description of your struggle. Hot tea with honey and a little rum and chicken soup. If it doesn't make you better at least, with the rum, you won't care.

It is a great and powerful work, perhaps overstated for a common flu but with the Bird flu on the horizon it may soon not be. Then as the reaper takes his toll, we will look on this as prophetic.
