Description
My part time job in retirement is to work for the lady funeral director you can see in this pic.
The tractor and trailer was the means of transporting the 97 year old farmer to his grave about 1/2 mile away from the church. This was 2 days ago.

Perfect for purpose! What a splendid vintage tractor.
perfect...his ideal last ride
Lovely way for a farmer to go to the farm land in the sky---Love the bail of hay!
A FANTASTIC IMPRESSION AND CAPTURE, JEFF. so interesting to see the straw bale. it looks like the farmer has hidden himself in this bale, and at once he can comes 'up'. I KNOW THIS IS NOT A PICTURE TO MAKE JOKES ABOUT. I LIKE VERY MUCH TO SEE THIS KIND OF A FUNERAL, AS IF A PERSONAL WISH IS COMING TRUE, I GUESS. ASKING ME, ARE YOU ON THE CARRIAGE, JEFF?
Well it would be a little cheaper that way i would guess and how sad but great capture.
As he rides off into the sunset. Nice Picture.
Stunning capture my friend. God Bless.
Sad day but nice and neat shot
Excellent capture! :)
What better way for a farmer to be transported to his final resting place than a tracter. Wonderful sad capture!!
lovely pic, Jeff.
No better way for him to go...and I am sure it put a smile on everyone's face. 97 is a ripe old age...RIP.
Beautiful composition. excellent work
The tractor is absolutely gleaming! A very nice hearse for a farmer I think! May he rest in peace.
great shot
I had to open full size to find the lady.he probably requested to be pulled by the tractor for the last time.outstanding clarity Jeff
A fitting delivery method. Great shot!
A unique and special transportation but I bet that he would have liked it!
wow now that style to like this. it is wonderful to see stuff like this
No disrespect intended, but I don't see anything sad about this scene. He was 97!!! What a cool way to go.
I guess he outlived most of his friends! Good for him!
Tatworth isn't it Jeff, i was on my way to Axminster and saw all the cars parked on the verge. A very suitable vehicle for a farmers last journey
A very different hearse for his last journey! I think I'd like a horse and cart when I go.
Un modo molto umano di concludere il proprio viaggio nella vita ! A very human way to conclude your journey in life! Interestibg shot , Jeff !
Love that scene :)
Appropriate..and memorable
I really like the story this image tells, Jeff. Well done, Clive
