Description
"the act of packing or storing away".
Part of tiding up after the exercise of launching the lifeboats. I was most intrigued to see one of them wiping down the deck where a greased cable had smeared under the stowed lifeboat. I dealt with that kind of cleanliness in the Air Force, it was very comforting to observe.
Shipshape indeed!

Superb capture Clive. God Bless.
It matters so much on a boat, even a little dinghy!
It's important to have a sense of order, especially when inattention could wreak havoc. Excellent capture!
i bet he was a boyscout
Very good capture Cleanliness is important in that while cleaning to exacting standards, you can see if there is damage or problems occurring, ie a leak in a pipe, etc.
Attention to detail is everything when lives are at stake...I'd feel good about crusing with this line.
Excellent capture; nice to know they do their jobs well!
Looks good!
That looks a new rope and imperative that everything is tidy! Great capture.
Safety on ships, very important! On Cruise ships even more so... (Costa take note!) lol A fine shot, reassuring indeed! Rob
