Description
...Tara and I do leave the house once in awhile without cameras. But usually only when it is raining:)
...today we had a little time to kill, the sun was out and we wound up at the edge of Puget Sound without cameras.
...therefore this photo is not from my Olympus DSLR...it is from my Iphone.

...did you know there are now websites and blogs that feature only photos taken through the lenses of Iphones? If you are interested, here's a Flickr Group with some excellent results".
...BTW, I am not selling Iphones:) ...there are lots of cell phones out there that take very good pictures, but an Iphone is what I have to substitute for my camera. Oh, and once in awhile I even make a phone call with it! :-)

Cool image Bill love the foreground I have my camera with me through all kinds of weather as my phone does not have a camera function and sometimes I even remember to take the phone with me to make a call
you use your phone to call people???? that's just weird---lol!! but, i tellya, those dang things take some good shots and this is one of em!!
I like the image and I bet you if you didn't tell anyone about the phone, they would think this was taken with a regular camera.
Wow, that is really good. I am totally impressed, never thought they could be so good.
Nice phone shot Bill, well done!!
nice one my friend
There are already photobooks available with images taken only with phone cameras. Some are quite bad, others are like this!
The phone's will soon put the camera's out of business if they keep going the way that they are... Fantastic capture-You really had nature calling you to capture this
Fantastic shot.
This really is a beautiful shot Bill.
Remarkable! Very beautiful. Although did you not feel you had left the house without your underwear? I believe my phone can make an image of exceedingly inferior quality bu I have no idea how to get it onto the PC.!
Love it Bill. I am also an iPhone shooter and am always looking for the next shot. I too, do not always carry my camera but the iPhone is always with me. :)
A very beautiful shot and seems when i do not have my camera i always regret it something i should have shot and missed on.
A wonderful scene.
I know the cameras on phones are very good now, thus they are the bane of going to gigs! White screens appearing everywhere in the audience lol Nothing the organisers can do to stop it because they are phones! But, this shows just what you can do with one.. a fine picture Bill no matter what took it! Rob
What on earth were you thinking? LOL! I've only left the house without my camera once in the last couple of years (it was a complete accident), and I had the most awful sense of doom about it; of course I saw something I really wanted to capture! My smartphone has a camera, but I only ever get "oops!" shots of the inside of the protective case (not the right one for this phone, so it covers the camera eye). I'm still figuring out how to work the darn thing. This is a beauty of a shot, Bill!
Well it is a lovely moody pic from your i-phone. No camera, NEVER!!!
Great photograph! Xcellent depth-of-field!
lovely
Wonderful moody lighting in this eye-phone capture! ;) I know that's a punn. ;D
I can't believe the magnificence of this pic taken by all things, a cellphone. What a stunning scene! Of course, it's an Apple product, so how can you go wrong? And, I'm probably the only one among your viewers/commentors that dosen't own a cellphone.
VERY BEAUTIFUL
I can say you did superbly well using your Iphone. I can also say that cell phone cameras is also improving. Amazing capture my friend. God Bless.
I'm glad you had your phone with you or you would have been so mad to have missed this beautiful scene. Fabulous lighting and a great title.
Very impressive, I have taken some flower shots with my cell phone that turned out pretty decent.
Great image from a phone My friends do that a lot... I mean take pics with their phones they turn out really well as did this one Hugs Susan~
Very nice capture.
Very beautiful lighting in this image , Bill ! Iphone is very good in terms of photography, but it is essential to help with a similar scene. I have a Samsung MK1 working discreetly and I took several pictures of the test!
Awesome capture with Your I Phone Bill!!!
Just goes to prove it's all in the eye and the skill of the photographer. I've seen photos taken with top-flight cameras that were crap, and photos taken with drug-store disposables worthy of National Geographic. You and Tara could probably go out with pinhole cameras made with an oatmeal box and come back with masterpieces! I'm in awe... :-D
