Bill (bmac62) was asking about the Flinders Street Railway Station. So here was how it looked last Tuesday, and an old photo from 1927!

Thanks Andrew. I am always fascinated by old railroads and everything that goes with them. This is such a neat comparison...let's see 1927-2012...85 years! It appears the overhead wires are still in place for trollies in 1927 and for what today...electric buses? Ah ha, a zoom appears to reveal one of those buses. Your photo of the station is sharp, bright and highly detailed. Great presentation.

WOW .... what a magnificent architecture. I am glad that the city planners have the building so well integrated into the new Melbourne. I look at often old postcards from Berlin to compare - old and new city. Class recording and accurately the angles / location of the past.
