Description
A long time ago in a place far, far away...she greets the light of a new day, a new beginning for her world, and the bright promise of great things to come.
This is my first image produced in DAZ 4 Advanced. As many of you know I still produce all of my images on a 13 inch MacBook with a Duo Core processor. The only tools of my trade are a touchpad and my finger! Keeping that in mind, let me say I am happy so far with DAZ 4. The biggest improvement for us Mac users is that it now comes in a 64 bit version for Mac. This greatly improves my workflow, and especially render times. I am still trying to get use to the interface, but its not bad. The autofit tool is really nice for clothing your Genesis characters, but it does use a bit more CPU. V5, featured here, is great to work with, but definitely needs some good textures. DAZ 4 crashes no more frequently for me than DAZ 3 did, and it is almost always because I am overtaxing my little processor.

Beautiful image, lovely pose, absolutely superb armour! I use DS4 from time to time - only if the Genesis figure is involved. DS4 even makes my 6-core CPU sweat :-).

I had no idea you were cranking these out on a 13" Mac, we all learn something new everyday! I miss being able to render with my computer still down for the count, but I don't know how you do it, Marco... my 24" HD widescreen had definately spoiled me ~ I've no idea how people work on laptops! Stunning colors and textures in this, your composition and posing is impeccable. always a pleasure to view your latest creations.
