After seeing today's Strollers this had to be very uncomfortable as all get out and very airy for a small child.

Actually a good design...compared to the heavy weight baby carriages of the time. Like seeing these oldies.
I remember those buggies and how my mother had one ...they were heavy and awkward, but today they're priceless.
