Description
Bill posted an image last night entitled Tricks the Eye and it had several of you asking what MY shot looked like!
So here it is.
This is what it looks like when you lean backwards against the Bean (officially known as Cloud Gate) and take a picture of Chicago's skyline.
For those of you who wanted more information on this fabulous sculpture, you can check out this link:

Before even reading your narrative I just knew that this was the shot you took! A typical Tara shot - a unique pov! Well done Hun!!
I glad you weren't crippled in the making of this piece of art, my friend! Brilliant and most unexpected.
Good you didnt fall over, Tara and this is such a superb shot :-)))
Very interesting point of view. I like it.
What a contortionist you are but I reckon any ache or pain is worth it for this extraordinary shot!!
LIverpool,Chicago,Prague. My favourite cities and this makes me want to return to sit on Navy Pier and gaze upon that fantastic skyline of yours.
Wonderful capture! :)
Cool effects!
cool
Good angle Tara. Looks really unique.
Very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very cool...I would love to see it.
Yep - as soon as I saw this, I said "Aha! That's what Tara was shooting in Bill's photo!" What a delightful shot!
super-interesting pov !!
Picture possibilities are endless at The Bean...we visited on two different days and you could make a living just out of taking pictures of all the antics of the people gawking at themselves and others in those highly polished surfaces. Fun to see what your were seeing when I saw you looking! lol.
Wonderful POV!!!
Not a good image for someone susceptible to vertigo! Very cool shot.
looking way up so much more to view and see what stares warm hugs, Linda Kaye
Great image Love the POV Hugs Susan~
Amazing capture Tara. God Bless.
Awesome picture!
I knew too, but I hadn't imagined it to look like this. I guess I didn't know what to expect, ha ha!
Such an odd effect! Very cool! Love the angle! Great idea!
Oh, very well seen, Tara! Fantastic capture!!
Thanks for posting this Tara. Now I see what you were looking at - the reflection of the buildings in the lower half of the photo. This is cool, getting both the reality and the reflection in the same photo. It looks like the Bean has infinite potential for photos. And thanks for the link - I'm going there right now! Keep up the good work! :-)
A marvellous effect in this great capture.
Great shot Tara and I am not surprised that you found a different pov to look at these buildings. Love it! P.S. How is the snow? Still coming down? Looks like Olympia got hit harder than Seattle!
Oh is that cool!
as if I am, half-swallowed, looking out through the teeth... love it, Tara!
Quite good. First, I didnt see the reflection.
