Hi Friends,
Recently early in the morning I wanted to make "the perfect sunrise photo".
I leaned out of the attic window (see the arrow), but didn't get far enough out to take the right ( "perfect" ) picture, as the sun is coming up far to the left.
Well I thought, you should have a seat, so you can go (hang) more far out the window.
When I stood on a chair, one with wheels. (I knew it was stupid, but didn't care ;-))
And took the picture that way, as the seat went fast backwards;
I cracked my ribs on the windowsill, and now I have bruised ribs, luckily the worst pain is over.
I can laugh at that, though, laughter is painful as well, lol.
To let you know, today I got the results of the CT scan.
Everything is good.
The neurologist made the proposal to go to a rehabilitation doctor, to discuss what can be done possibly in other ways.
We wait and see. Although, I have not much sense in all that 'stuff'.

P.S. In this picture I see everything seems askew,
this is indeed, the house is too high for me, maybe if I'll take a chair....?

Looks quite classic to me--cracked a couple of my lower left ribs on Oct.01--and just now finally can breathe without a little pain! Take care there----

Beautiful looking house you have Mies. I know all about cracked ribs and how much they hurt. I'm still tender from my injury back in november. That is mixed news about the CT scan, I know its a huge relief to know there isnt a tumor or something scarey there, but it has to be disappointing to still not be any closer to knowing what the cause of your pain is. I love your photos, but please dont stand on chairs that have wheels anymore. :)

Good news and bad news. Very happy your scan was OK but sorry that you were hurt trying to get that perfect picture Mies. I like your lovely house and don't stand on that chair!!
Your house is so beautiful with such lovely brick work. I am glad you are recovering from your chair accident but you did make me laugh with your description of what happened. I'm glad you didn't fall out the window! I'm glad the CT scan showed no major problems. Will continue to keep you in my prayers.

If the house is too high for you, the only thing to do is take another chair with wheels! ;) Jokes aside, your house is very beautiful, but you try to be careful with the chairs!!! I hope your ribs heal quickly and I am glad that the results of CT are good! A big hug! :)

My god Jacomina. You are really doing some stupid things ;) Where do most accidents happen? Right, in the household. I'm glad that the result are "only" some broken ribs. Hope that you will not do something like this again. Your house looks beautiful.
