Description

this is memory of those men that flew the missions into France behind enemy lines to secure a bridge to prevent Germany from sending ground troops that would have hindered the Normandy invasion the scenario(imaginary) is the glider was released early and the Corsairs are flying to make sure the glider is able to land and air support after the C47 tow plane had to return to the UK from bullet damage from German fighter pilot. the two Corsairs made quick work of the German Luftwaffe fighters http://www.atterburybakalarairmuseum.org/CG4A_C47_color_photo.jpg the Corsairs are free by Bazze and the town ruins are free also by Chris previous comments by bazza on Jan 9, 2012 3:09:02 am [homepage] Looks good Richard look forward to seeing the final version, hope you don't loose your power.. by farmerC on Jan 9, 2012 3:45:45 am [homepage] Shining done. by UteBigSmile on Jan 9, 2012 4:34:59 am [homepage] This is really very beautiful looking! by greyone (online now) on Jan 9, 2012 5:53:00 am [homepage] Looks great Richard, but I'm sure will be even better once the uniforms are more accurate. by kenmo on Jan 9, 2012 6:05:13 am [homepage] Cool creation..... by magnus073 (online now) on Jan 9, 2012 7:25:39 am [homepage] It's looking great so far Richard, nice work by eekdog (online now) on Jan 9, 2012 7:42:36 am [homepage] cool scene.. by 1010 (online now) on Jan 9, 2012 8:01:53 am [homepage] Lots of posing here, excellent Richard! by Faemike55 on Jan 9, 2012 8:08:51 am [homepage] Very cool by evielouise on Jan 9, 2012 10:44:01 am [homepage] very creative u do a good job in poser! by Jean C on Jan 9, 2012 10:59:03 am [homepage] Beautiful render! by brycek on Jan 9, 2012 11:26:50 am [homepage] Cool work!! by Rodolfo Ciminelli on Jan 9, 2012 12:04:38 pm [homepage] Cool scene my friend....!!! by Bampster on Jan 9, 2012 12:10:46 pm [homepage] Great stuff here, Richard. Superior work, Richard. A truly great portrayal of a very critical period in our history. My uncle was in the Normandy Invasion and had similar stories to relate. He recently passed at the age of 98, a special breed of men!!!!!

beautiful staging of an air shipment, with its aerial combat, sometimes I saw with my eyes of kids ... the future of humanity has been at sea, under sea, on land and in the air ... beautiful colors and beautiful panorama.
