Description

From the desert to the snow covered mountains, it's all in the altitude ;) I really liked how the desert brush in winter color contrasted with the snow covered mountains in the distance. I am still in awe at how beautiful it was that day, and how lucky I was to be able to stop and capture the moment. I took this, as well as, "December Desert" (my previous upload) on (sr) 138. I dedicate this to my Grandma, who we laid to rest this morning. She is now a feisty angel~ I am so grateful to have had her in my life for so many years; she will be missed. hugs, ~Melinda~

Utterly and undeniable fabulous foto of the foreground terrain and royal mountains in the distance, Melinda! And a most poignant dedication to your grandmother.
