Description
One of the gift artworks I created last year for Xmas. My cousin loved it. :)
This artwork is for my cousin Tara who is a dancer who lives in a city, thus a dancer in the city inspired artwork. Not sure how the idea came to mind to have the dancer practicing on a rooftop at sunrise but I'm glad it did because this turned out to be a very pretty artwork indeed. The dancer isn't intended to be a likeness of my cousin, I instead used my Kalypso character and the body textures from my Marina character. I had a lot of fun post-working and painting this one to achieve the final effect.

Gorgeous and symbolic. No wonder your cousin loved it. It reminds me of the ancient custom of greeting the sun practiced by our ancestors. Bravo!
