Description
I chose this one, my 500th image in my gallery to cheer the new year 2012. The room is the ground floor of the Modern Art Museum in Graz, a darkened room with somewhat disturbing installations, and the escalator went to the first floor (where, truth to be told, the artwork was only minimally less weird). The light to the end of the escalator seems a promise of a less disturbing future. I'm still resolute to be optimistic even if the new hail of taxes starts tomorrow.
Thanks for your kind comments.

500 is such a great number for a new year! And Happy New Year to you! I like this image quite a lot. It has a dream-like quality to it...lots of elements that could work as symbols, or as pointers to symbols, or just mysteries. I like that and the colors are really great! I think the colors stand out more because they're almost like neon light in a darkened space, and I happen to love neon lights, so naturally, I would desperately attempt to see neon wherever I look. This is brilliant, as always, and Happy New Year to you!
Very cool shot and awesome 500th image..Happy New Year!!
This is an awesome shot. Happy New Year!!!!!
What a great creation you've made here, Sandra! Probably oodl;es better than most installations, and I'm not keen on 'disturbing' nowadays! I wish you continuing creativity and good health for 2012!

Happy New Year
A big day for you, congratulations you have a wonderful gallery always a pleasure to visit.
Happy New Year
A most surrealistic and psychedelic photo, Sandra! Most amazing and almost dizzying scene! So much to look at, where does one begin? Hope the tax man doesn't hit you too hard! Live is difficult enough without losing more of one's income the those political spendthrifts and their massively diastrous spending programs! Hope this coming year treats you kindly!
Well done Sandra, 500! - even on the ceiling! ;) the saturated colours gives it that 'Je Nous Se Qua', but I do know it, when I see it and this is it! Cheers ~2012~ BB
