Description
Blinkings posted a great shot of a Melbourne landmark, Pellegrini's recently. (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2283638&user_id=448556&member&np)
I found myself in the area a few days ago, and I thought I would have a crack, as we say here in the Antipodes. I tried to give this a sort of film noir feel, hence the added noise in CS5. All feedback greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking.

I hate noise but in this case i will make an exception. It make's the whole area look as if it has just been rough cast right down to the glass window. Really interesting concept
WOW I'm impressed dude......very impressed. I didn't think of going for the alley in the shot, settling for the more traditional footpath view. But this ROCKS. I can imagine Robert Mitchum staring out of that window. The noise was a great choice.........it's funny how it was totally acceptable as 'grain' in the film days but now less people embrace it. Great stuff.
Beautiful artwork... Have a Happy New Year!
I agree with the others here, the noise does pull it off really well
