Okay, people, here's the thing.... I had a migraine the other day, so Jendon, kind soul that she is, gave me a couple of of endone tablets. Endone, for the uninitiated, is pretty much pure morphine. Keep score, we're up to two. An hour later, the pain hadn't eased, so Jen calls the ambulance. After being allocated a bed, and checked out, a doctor gives me two more endone tablets, kind soul that he was. I hope you're keeping score, we're now up to four tablets. I was now feeling a little better, but still in pain, so it was decided a little while later to give me two more endone. Have you been keeping score, people??? We are now up to six endone. Which is as I said, is pretty much pure morphine. After a while, the pain began to subside. A calm, relaxed feeling flooded my body. The world became a much happier place. I started to think about photography. What was my next project? A portrait of my girl? A sunset? Or perhaps something more meaningful? Something symbolising the angst we all feel in a cold, impersonal, post-modern world? "HEY!" a voice exclaimed in my head, (I now realise it was the endone) "why don't you take one of them little roses out the front, put it in some water, and put it in the freezer?" And that's how I got this idea. My creativity just had to be jump started by being off my face. Thanks for looking, and have a great New Year.
