Description
These clematis seed heads reminded me of Thing 1 and Thing 2. :)
This is that weird time of the year when we on the West Coast are still in the old year while most of the rest of the world has passed midnight and is in 2012 already.
Renderosity time says it's already nearly 1:00 in the morning on January 1st, but my clock says it's just before 11:00 at night on December 31st.
Happy New Year to you wherever you are! :)

My clock says it is 10:56pm as I write your comment. My mom's Clematis looks the same way. for some reason, though, I never associated Addam's Family with them. thank you for the wonderful memories Happy new Year, when It comes, that is!
Thanks. Happy New Year to you too. It's 8:17 January 1st. Superbly processed clematis.
And a happy new year to you as well! Just 40 minutes to wait for you!
They have a Dr Seuss look to me.
Beautiful seeds. Photography makes life seem magical sometimes, doesn't it? :)
The best sort of fireworks! All the very best for 2012, Tara!
excellent my friend
A super B&W Tara and my best wishes to you too.
Very good shot. Thanks for sharing. I like the title too. :) Happy New Year.
You know, Little Thing 1 and Little Thing 2 are two of my favorite characters in anything, ever!. And this is a perfect reminder of that! I love the natural wonderfulness of this and your crisp clarity just makes it jump and jiggle in all of the best possible ways. This rocks and it's a great way for me to start off the New Year. Of course, I also started off the New Year watching Battlestar Galactica. I'm such a nerd! And on that note, Happy New Year to you and I'm hoping that 2012 is the year I get to Seattle!
cool shot !
Nice, looks as firework.

Happy New Year to you and Bill!
WOW! This is super beautiful, Tara. I just love this. Better than any fireworks I could imagine :) Have a Happy and healthy New Year, my friend :)
Hmm, Dr Seuss portrayal of the Things? I like the thought of that. For some odd reason I'm also thinking Muppets... These are so wonderful to see, and your monotone works perfectly!
Interesting subject and a really nice capture :-) Wishing you and your family a really nice Happy New Year! also... Thank you very much for your previous comment about our relationships and the art we have in common. it is so true!
I love hairy clematis :)
I don't recall exactly where you found these...maybe up a canyon above Provo? Wherever it was it was fun going there and being there with you. As for Dr. Seuss...here's a fitting quote for us for the new year, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” Looking forward to lots more trips, camera in-hand, during 2012:* Oh, ha, ha...did I mention I really like this little patch of roadside seed heads? Well, I really do!
What a splendid image! Great shot! Happy New Year also to you and Bill! :)
Happy New Year.
Oh this is stellar Hun! I love these Things!!! Wishing you, Bill and Mandy a wonderful 2012! Lief jou baie!
Happy new years
A super capture of these seed heads, they remind me of the fire works that have been let off all around the world to bring in the new year. We are now past lunchtime on the 2nd day of the new year. I hope you have a super 2012.
Very cool "Things" you have here, Tara! I think they would make for a great sci-fi story.... The Things That Ate Seattle" or something like that! :-D A Very Happy New Year to you and Bill and Mandy, too!!
Now if you can just teach them to dance. ;D LOL! Beautifully captured and presented! :) Happy New Year to you and Bill! :D
Lovely swirls in b/w!
Happy New Year to you too, Tara May warm hugs and love smile, Linda Kaye
