A Toast: To Creativity!
"Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures." Henry Ward Beecher
...as I post this we still have 11 hours to go before 'the ball drops' here on the west coast of the USA but with all the good wishes coming from all of you many time zones to the east...
...I just couldn't wait any longer.

Beautiful Bill and thanks for your good wishes, they are returned to you and Tara. Just over 2 1/2 hours to go here!
Yeah! What he said! :) This is beautiful, honey. Gorgeous light in a perfect sky over one of my favorite landscapes. :*

to you and yours to my friend
very beautiful! Happy New Year 2012!!
Wonderful view and the cloud looks like a dog <:) Have a Happy and Healthy new year, you and your family :)
Happy New Year to you and Tara Very lovely photo
Wonderful sky shot to celebrate the oncoming of 2012, Bill. Enjoy the year, because, according to the Mayan calender/prophesies, our planet will come to an end on December 21, 2012. So you gotta give it all you got, not the least photographically, during the coming 12 months. Happy New Year, my friend!
A beautiful toast and I couldn't agree more, it would be a sad world without art. Have a great new year.
A stunning cloudscape as a backdrop for new year wishes, couldn't get any better than that; best of it to you all also!
Such a barren landscape - but zoomed-in, it suddenly comes alive, the sky paints and frames the picture perfectly ... Thanks of course and our best OZZIE wishes for a prosperous NEW YEAR ~2012~ to you both! Big Cheers, Bill BB
Happy New Year to both of you. A lovely sky.
Happy New Year to you, and may 2012 be a brilliant and fun year for EVERYBODY! What a shot this happens to be as well...that looming cloud is rather like the promise of interesting things to come; it's a big cloud, and so it's full of stuff. Hopefully, it's interesting stuff too! This is nicely pregnant with all sorts of possibilities.
An impressive sky.Best hopes for 2012.
That cloud formation looks like a right hand from below with the index finger pointing towards the future, invisible over the hills in the background. I'm now 12 1/2 hours into the New Year and it's pouring outside. New Years Eve in Malmö was interesting - impressive city fire works at midnight. Had the good luck of trains running (and on time). In bed by 01:15! Now to see what 2012 has in store for us, one day at a time (not to mention what we have in store for each other!). Keep up the good work (and don't worry about the Mayan calendar or prophecies - we can't do anything about that, or their beliefs. Time will tell!). :-)
all the best wishes to you and your loved ones too !! wonderful capture and like the words too!!
Beautiful :o) HAPPY NEW YEAR Bill, Tara & Mandy. Love, QUIET WOOFS, WAGS & PURRS. xxxx
