Stunning capture Clive. Had to much to eat and burnt shoulders,back face etc. Even bought me a descent hat while in Robertson.

What a wonderful juxtaposition of elements! The green slime of neglect right next to a piece of brilliant yellow security gear. Huh. More to this place than meets the eye, methinks!

Great shot. Lots to look at.
The place is well protected, at least: if ADT has anything to do with it. I'm glad of that because this is what I'd call a grunge gem...something you'd only find in a city with character, charm, wit, and greater age than Chicago has managed to pull off! I love the owl and the other bits of graffit, intermingled with actual architecture, moss, and other interesting stuff. This is quite truly brilliant.

What a great find! The rollup door is a bit out of place, and makes me think that the original door was probably smashed, possibly in a brawl...wonder if they hose the place out at night? Lots of slime indeed, and under it all a beautiful piece of architecture.
