Description
Trent & David's highly reflective, black lacquer piano.
As it turns out, taking pictures of this piano has become a holiday tradition! I thought I'd taken every shot of this instrument it was possible to take, but I always find something new.
Glassware on an end table is reflected in the fall. (The fall is the part of the piano that closes down over the keys when the piano is not in use.)

A splendid image! The craftsmanship always keeps that high standard of the lacquer finish that seems to throw back every photon of light!
The Fall, so named because, if you do not secure it properly it will fall on your fingers! Excellent capture. For a moment I thought it was sitting on the piano.
well done my friend
beautiful!!! both piano and what it is showing... great capture!
Stunning capture!
It just shows that you are in tune with your photography Tara.
And I call mine 'The Lid'! Dead common, me. Hehe! I never knew that. Well I knew that I was common..never mind. Wonderful reflections which lead into the elegant world of your brother.

I see that. Very funny.
A beautiful and very warm reflection - great shot, Tara! That piano must be a real beauty!
Such a beautiful "Fall" reflection ;-D Superbly done indeed.
A beautiful addition to your "Reflecting on..." series. My grandfather worked in a coachbuilder's paintshop (1898-1900) doing the sanding between coats of black lead-based paint to eventually arrive at a mirror-like finish similar to this. No lead-based paint on this beauty!
Beautiful shot!
