Oh, I want to go there now. Beauriful.
A beautiful shot Tara.
Wonderful textures and light. From dark to light, very sensual.
These colours are amazing! Beautiful, serene. Calms me down to look at this, so peaceful. Great compo and gorgeous image!
Like a macro. SUCH skill on your part (and a little on the part of nature)

Simply stunning, awesome capture!
Very cool capture
A BRILLIANT crop, what a wonderful abstract it makes! Gorgeous!
Superb shot. From thumbnail I thought it was a bunched-up carpet. I really like the simplicity of this shot - very creative.
WOW - I love the layers! It reminds me of the Namib sand dunes!
Yeah~~~WOW is right!!
Great folds of soft material...there is a very comfortable feeling to this... An abstract is difficult to describe...these Painted Hills allow you to immerse yourself in a physical abstraction. So very memorable:)
Wonderful folds of color and texture Tara!!!!
Good game of lines !
WOW! It looks like a high quality carpet of wool :-) Superb shot.

Very nicely done!
I am going back there in the spring for a second visit. This area is a photographer's paradise. A great photo, Tara.
I saw this and immediately thought of rolling sand dunes...which, of course, took me directly to thoughts of Dune, and I wondered (for just a moment) if there were Fremen in stillsuits wandering around with thumpers so that they could hitch a ride on the back of an enormous (and surly) sandworm. And then it hit me: you said this was Oregon, and so all visions of Arrakis were replaced by visions of Oregon, complete with interesting geology. The whole Pacific Northwest is an area that I must visit. It's a moral imperative, and this is yet another photograph drawing me in that direction. As always, this is such brilliant work.
very lovely
Amazing abstract, the colors are nice too...
Simply Beautiful!!
It almost looks like a soft, fuzzy blanket - nice and warm to wrap up in this time of year... This is so amazing! A wonderful 'realist-abstract' (LOL) you've captured here, Tara!
blended thoughts come with think as the eyes stare a bit so much can see warm hugs, Linda Kaye
