Description
I always wanted to be like my mom. She had her own successful business, her family, her friends, and she took care of everyone, all of us. I just wish she had taken better care of herself. She neglected to have her annual mammograms, and when she discovered the lump in her breast, she did not take time to have it checked out. Than it was too late... the cancer had spread.
Yes, I am like my mom, but I do have my annual mammogram, and when I discovered the lump in my breast, I had it checked out right away. For me it was not to late... and I am a survivor.
