Wow what a beautiful shot this is awesome the way the light seems to come through it.
Wonderful details in the whites, Bill!! A judge at my camera club in the 80's used to upset those members with zilch sense of humour by calling all flowers daffodils and all animals rabbits. I thought he was hilarious but not so some of the po-faced men! As in, on viewing a very complicated orchid bloom.."This daffodil is a little too fussy for my taste"! Or, about a terrific pic of a giraffe "My word this rabbit has a long neck!"
When you love everything that relates to life. things do not all have the same name and have yet to see the flavors of our heart inside Great making ((5 + +)) Quand on aime tout ce qui se rapporte à la vie . les choses n'ont pas tous le même nom et pourtant ont y voit les saveurs de notre coeur à l'intérieur comme Belle prise ((5++))
looks so beautiful in the soft lighting they glowing too !!wonderful!!
This would make a spectacular addition to anybody's portfolio, looks to me like 'virginal-white feathers' or remember Madonna's hit 'like a virgin' comes to mind? ... and now I am wondering whether it is a: Peony Rose Charles White? (Charles White is a very rare classic full white Peony) superb find, Bill BB
You have captured the essence of its beauty very well Bill, it's a lovely shot. BTW lifeboats are still used in the UK and the one I posted is active.
Very lovely flower! it's even purdy!
I love those feathery petals; what a beauty, whatever it is! And what a shot!
Beautiful and it almost looks like a Peony, but they bloom in the spring or early summer.
Super capture of this beautiful flower!! Great contrast between white flower and dark backround!!
& it is beautiful Bill, amazing pic!!!
Looks like a ballerina--thanks!
Well neither can I so we'll call it a draw! None the less this delicate beauty shall be known as an instant fav!
Gorgeous form, and I love the light! It's always a pleasure to see you doing flowers. You don't have to know this is a peony in order to enjoy it. :) Beautiful image!
I would have thought it was a peony, but not a daffodil? But it is hard to see, when we dont see the leaves too, but it is mighty lovely.
Fancy free...! Superb! Clive
Beautiful Love the feathery image And I think it's a peony Hugs Susan~
A very beautiful clear capture of this lovely flower. I too think it is a peony though it is the wrong time of year for you to have one in flower as mine are in full bloom down here.
White, white, nothing but white! Gorgeous macro of this unknown species, Bill, and I've never seen a bloom with the inside petals seemingly having been run through a paper shredder.
fantastic!
Wonderful shot.
EXCELLENT COMPOSITION
Well, aside from a few very common specimens, I'm not worth a hoot at identifying them. But I sure know a great photo of them - and this certainly falss into that category, Bill! Lovely range of whites, and the subtle splash of color in the center just pulls your eye right in! A great addition to your gallery, Bill!
twirls of fluff catches the eyes warm hugs smile, Linda
What a wonderful white! Yes there are so many different white colors to see everywhere around, this one is one of the best ever seen. Great captured and shown here, by this flower so well into it, Bill.
I didn't know what it was either til I read the others comments, nice image love the color.
I like the delicate look. Lovely with the dark background.
