Great title! And away they go,hopefully to a warmer place for the winter.
What a marvellous sight!
I like the motion blur, with the ones on the right seming to be slower. Wow!
Nice one!!
excellent my friend
looks special !! so many birds at the same moment !!
A definite sense of motion in this stellar panorama, Ms Marilyn.
Wow! Brilliant capture!
Ya know, if you look at this in one particular way, it actually looks like water and vigorously animated water dropletts, rather like a wave breaking over stone. I really like the sense of motion this has, and you've even captured that odd sort of confusing motion huge flocks of birds (or schools of fish) create. You're sure they're moving in one direction, and they essentially are, but they can change direction so quickly and the eye has trouble tracking it. You've captured that perfectly here as it took a moment for me to fully digest what I was looking at. This rocks! I especially like the uneven blur...that, right there, is probably because of that direction change thing I mentioned: the giant bird-composed amoeba the flock makes is changing shape and you caught it! Brilliant!
Excellent image.
They were flying just for you! Motion and action...never a dull moment down on the river:) Nice...
It is so cool how they move in unison - wonderful capture.
