Description
I took quite a few photos of this statue of the Great Buddha, but I thought this one was best for my gallery. You can get inside it and look out of two large windows in Buddha's back ^_^
This was taken in mid November, and it was 23 degrees C... felt like summer here in Glasgow, haha.
Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.
Iain

Welcome back Iain, certainly the biggest Buddha I've seen but probably not the biggest there is. Japan in November, that sounds like a great idea, but then Japan any time of year sounds like a great idea.A fascinating and most historic country, hope you'll post some more pics.....
great foto, can we see the windows in the back too?
Yep. will be ^_^ I've also realised that my last render was back in September O.O I have been lax, haha
I'll post the back windows tomorrow, vsvry, just for you, lol
Xcellent clarity and details!
Beautiful capture! I like the fact that you show life in your shots too! Well done!
I was there in june 2004, it was then about 15 degrees warmer. It was even warmer inside :)
Impressive statue - I like the way it has weathered over time to give it even more character & interest...
magnificent
