Description
Heading for the Pad
Today marks the start of the next section of my ABIS – America Back Into Space story arc. This story, set in the not too distant future, tells the tales of America’s space agency NASA and its efforts to put America back into space after the end of the space shuttle programme.
Heading for the launch pad once again is Hercules, the huge Super Booster conceived by Robert L Carter and built by NASA to lift it’s heavy and super heavy payloads into Earth orbit. Riding atop Hercules is Cocoon, the multi-configurable Cargo Carrier also conceived by Robert Carter to transport the many different sizes and weights of payload NASA will need to lift into Earth orbit as part of Carter’s grand design for taking America back into space after the end of the space shuttle programme.

Hurray!!! great to see this back, and the guys in the space station will be happy, they,ve been sat up there for months with nothing to do :-) Having watched the Mars launch last weekend, I can really visualise this moving along.I also have a better appreciation of the detail and accuracy you put into your images...great stuff Phil...
Awesome render!
Great looking image. Wonderful work.
EXCELLENT!
I am so happy to see you continuing with the story! I missed this yesterday as I was trying to get over a bout of flu, and it was a nice surprise to see the notification in my mailbox today. Great render, and I am looking forward to the rest. Thanks, Phil, you've made my day :) Hugs, Lale
