Description
Color photograph, shot on a gray day.
Fortunately for me, there's a wealth of information on practically every building in Chicago!
Here's a page on this building, for those of you who might be interested:

I was standing on Washington looking up rather than standing in Millenium Park looking across Michigan, which is the more standard shot.

Very cool capture, Tara Great POV. Did Bill rub your neck after this shot?
Hey, I know exactly where I was standing when you took that shot! I guess because I was standing right next to you...wondering how that face would look in the rain, which would make him look as if he's drooling, rather rudely. What a shot! I love the POV and the details you captured here, without actually revealing too much! This really demonstrates your demonstration of what Chicago looks like!
Yes! I really like your POV. This makes me want to see more and you've provided a great link... It boggles my mind to think this building will be 100 years old soon. US cities are beginning to gather a history of their own.
A fantastic POV Tara and a good DOF, very well seen and captured.
Great pic and pov hugs susan
Love the POV and that face, worth a close up on its own.
SUPERB! Love the gargoyle.
at least he is smiling at the grey day
Fantastic POV, excellent picture!
Really? I thought it was shot in Black n White.. It works fabulously well as such! But incredible amount of detail on the building, great angle! And shot! Well taken.. Rob
I like your pic better than the pics on the other site. You can really see the details. Wonderful Gargoyle.
What a fun and beautiful shot and that gargoyle looks even friendly ;-)
Awesome POV, though now I have a crick in my neck!!
Perfect view of that Green Man face and the other whatever-it-is next to him... Love the ornamentation on these old buildings!
much hurt you neck to do this one. cool looking
What a great angle, Tara! It pays to look up every once in a while! What a great shot! And if I don't get my fool butt to bed, I'm going to look a lot like that guy when the alarm goes off at 5:00 AM... Super shot!
this is cool, Tara May as I looked up then back down again I smiled warm hugs, Linda Kaye
I love the gargoyle! Clive
Wonderful POV!!!
Perfect POV with that head
This is a great shot! Fabulous POV but why is that guy laughing at you?
