Description
A couple of Amanita muscari on a lawn near me.
The postman told me about them and said I just had to go and see this front garden.
It is dotted all over with fungi, and looks SO pretty. The workman are there doing some double-glazing and so there has been a bit of damage to some of them.
I had to go in the gate to sneak some shots, and the dogs were not keen on being in there! I may go back without them and ask if I can crawl around on the moss to get some pics of the other sorts.
The acorns are Holm Oak.

It is not hard to see why they make these in plastic for the garden-They are really quite beautiful. What happened to the wee guy with the fishing rod ?
Out of this world! They have the look of being hand painted.
Great shot!! They look some sort of...cute!? ;o)
So pretty and tempting to touch! Great shot :)
The beautiful 'Fly Agaric'. Great shot Andrea.

Fantastic. the one i took the other day is wooden, we went back to take another look. although it was on private ground,
Oh, nice! They are a perfectly matched couple. Sounds like a heavenly spot to explore...
Aren't they wonderful! They should star in a Disney cartoon.
Beautiful fly agaric. Obviously the gnome had wandered off!
very lovely red.
Really good find !
OHH They makes me think about candy apples on a stick with shopped coa coa nut on, we got when I was a little girl. Super beautiful shot :) Sorry, my translater is stil Kaput LOL !
Splendid Amanita! Wonderful shot! :)
I have never seen these about here!!!
Stunning capture Andrea. God Bless.
Terrific capture! They're in such nice condition, and would make a wonderful story-book illustration!
Fungi they may be, but they look all the world like candied apples, decorated with some kind of chopped up fruit rinds, sitting atop white broccoli stalks. Something you might see in a Disney movie. Other than that, excellent clarity, color/colour and composition, A.
Oh these are so neat looking crawling on your stomach...won't they just let you in to get pics... would hate to see you get sick crawling on the grass to get a pic you take care if you do this is an awesome shot.........love it Hug Susan~
These are fantastic. Thanks for sharing your capture:)
Splendid Amanita! Wonderful shot!
We do not get these here - not that I have seen anyway! Thanks for the pair! Clive
wonderful little duo, nice shot
They could pass for a pair of glazed 'salt and pepper' shakers. Beautiful capture and bright colors. I like the addition of the acorns.
