Description

A couple of Amanita muscari on a lawn near me. The postman told me about them and said I just had to go and see this front garden. It is dotted all over with fungi, and looks SO pretty. The workman are there doing some double-glazing and so there has been a bit of damage to some of them. I had to go in the gate to sneak some shots, and the dogs were not keen on being in there! I may go back without them and ask if I can crawl around on the moss to get some pics of the other sorts. The acorns are Holm Oak.

It is not hard to see why they make these in plastic for the garden-They are really quite beautiful. What happened to the wee guy with the fishing rod ?

Fungi they may be, but they look all the world like candied apples, decorated with some kind of chopped up fruit rinds, sitting atop white broccoli stalks. Something you might see in a Disney movie. Other than that, excellent clarity, color/colour and composition, A.

They could pass for a pair of glazed 'salt and pepper' shakers. Beautiful capture and bright colors. I like the addition of the acorns.
