Description
Remember when I was in Chicago a couple years ago and took pictures of every door in the city? That experience scarred me for life. LOL! Now I see interesting doors everywhere I go! This one was in Wallace, Idaho ... the second day of our most recent trip.
I'm sure I told you about Wallace before. It's that old mining town in the mountains of Northern Idaho where every building downtown is on the National Historical Register. Amazing place!

I love the glass and lead work in these doors Great capture
Outstanding capture!!! I agree with Mike, very cool glasswork!!
Very interesting door. Nice saturation and exposure to show details.
I really like the glass and the design they have on the doors and the archway up above as well.... I do wonder what type of wood that is though? Maybe Oak.......... Great capture Hugs Susan
like me with windows we both smile and think so much of what can see or even "pull" warm hugs, Linda Kaye
Ill take the leaded glass you can have the doors.
You found another nice one Tara! Doing door photos will eventually lead you into buying a tilt-shift lens...wonder how long you can hold out, LOL!
Fabulous! You may have caused me to have a re-awakened and unsatisfied keyhole fetish. Not that I can see one here, but I used to draw them a lot.
Amazing shot!
This is 'adoorable' Tara and I wonder if you did pull, would they tell you to 'push' off!!!
cool !!
doors .....another of my fav subjects
You got me started on this 'door' thing as well.. lol A stunning door with really nice glass work above, but, why the pull sticker.. are people really THAT thick? Great door Tara! Rob
Wallace must be a photographic joy!
Not just the door but the brickwork holding it up; what a beautiful entry! I can imagine you took a LOT of shots in this town...
HEHE! Scarred you for life. :) Such a beautiful door and excellent shot too. :)
Very nice doorway! and great bit of info too!
Great shot - what character this door has.
The wood, brass and glass are all so Wallace, Oregon...but I really like the old brick. We tend to take brickwork for granted these days. Today it is just a facade. But the old brick masons made a showy art form out of a brick wall. This doorway and its surrounding masonary gives the building such unique character. Your composition makes such a fine presentation...reminiscent of all those beautiful doorways in Chicago. When do we go back to Wallace? ...we only walked about 4-5 blocks...there are a couple of dozen more:)
Nice old door. :)
Splendid capture! :)
A super doorway to add to your collection. The glass looks so lovely in this excellent capture. A great find.
Oh, that is just gorgeous! You sure don't see that kind of workmanship anymore... A beautiful shot, Tara! Now see what you've done..... Now I wanna go there! :-D
Hmmm, I think I remember that trip!! Great shot of this fine old door.
You'd think the handle would give it away. Beautiful glass. A terrific image.
