Perhaps because I was raised by a single mother, I have a greater appreciation of what women have to do for their loved ones. Seems like they are still working when so many of us men have worn ourselves out doing so much less. (Although studies do show that these days in America, at least, the household duties and efforts to earn a living are fairly evenly divided.) Still, while the man of the house is softly snoring in his lazyboy, the woman is often still washing pots and pans, putting away the leftovers from supper, or dusting, or some other work. So this is my homage to the ever weary women, past, present, and future. Here we have a very tired gal living on a far away planet of a distant star system. In the basic patterns and behaviors of life, things change very little.
