Description
A sculpture in Arthur Square (Cornmarket), Belfast.
Towering seven metres high and wide and weighing seven-and-a-half tons, the sculpture is made of four curved stainless steel parts and replaces the famous bandstand that stood on the site for decades.
It was unveiled in 2009, the the work of New York artist Dan George.

Stunning capture Clive. God Bless.
A great compo, Clive. But a shame about the bandstand!
Terrific POV on this Clive.....to be sure to be sure! (I'm sure no one in Ireland actually says that'!!!
Well composed Clive.
I'd like to know why they demolished the 'Old' bandstand and threw this lump of scrap iron up? Me doing my anti modern thing again.. The POV is actually damned good and I would have done this shot myself more than likely! LOL Like! Rob
great capture and POV , like the building too!!
Very beautiful art and great capture
Awesome shot.
The curves go quite nicely with that building. Terrific pov!
Oh, nice! I love the building behind, and it looks great through the sculpture.
Great image and POV Hugs Susan~
Great compo!
I think this public art piece would grow on me but my first glimpse of these things always leaves me cold. As for your photo...excellent composition...the building draws my eye.
Another great idea of picture !
