Description
With the warm weather arrival, we are also inundated with the distinct and familiar Gecko sounds - anywhere, anytime ...
and this little baby was no exception - getting ready to undress himself, to get dressed ;)
***
They will shed their skin every 2-5 weeks, it's an automated process, that usually happens to allow them to grow, like all reptiles and amphibians.
Cheers Brigitte

Fantastic!!!!!
we have lizards here but I never hear them.
I hope they don't ask for the nudity advisor LOL Seriously now: It`s a great shot, Brigitte! I have two of these living in my house and I never have seen them doing their skin's change
Marvellous!! Send me some gecko noises please!
Great capture of this tiny reptile!! The use of Your hand gives the true scale of how tiny he is.
So glad I didn't squish him, cause he was real handful...er, not really !...LOL Very kool macro, but a BIG EUWW to them eating their own skin, a bit like those people who pick their noses ! BTW, dig the coloration and fine details ! ~Cheers~ BB :o)
Original shot!
Who frightened it??? Its jumped out of its skin. I bet you gave it a helping hand BB.
great shot of the littlr guy! ;)
Oh amazing shot!
marvelous capture
so very cute
Seems as his old shirt needs some ironing. ;) Great shot of a cute little critter!!
Caught in the buff. Wow, how embarrassing! Top clarity and detail in this sterling macro, BB!
My favorite lizard! Obviously wearing a hood so you couldn't identify him. What a cute and tiny creature. Or someone had huge hands. Brilliant shot.
What an AMAZING picture you're showing here, my dear friend. This is absolute a stunner in beauty, clarity, sharpness and colors, as in the action about what's going on. It's really a picture not to be missed, it shows so much to see. It is informative and sublime. Hugs!
we don't have geckos up here, although we are bracing ourselves for numerous sightings of snowsnakes... cool (actually warm) pic!
Amazing shot. You could see some amazing rocks at first look, before seeing the hand. Impressive and perfectly done!
Amazing!! Awesome timing, and super capture of this little critter.
Quite interesting to see that
A fantastic capture and wonderful play on words - for your title. Our geckos don't shed here in south Florida, US. They have very soft skin and when you spot one, near a light, you can watch the heart beat because the skin is translucent.
oh wow, thats so wonderful done, hope the small one's future is bright with your help;)
Great capure so tiny! No miss Ruby is just molting, a yearly occurrence.
This I believe so now not..... a hand-tame dragon.....cool!! Have a nice day.... dragon queen! Juli
Are these really that small?! WOW! What a find!
What an absolutely adorable shot. Such a tiny little baby...he's a wonderful little bug muncher. Great shot.
