Description
Picture taken in the Tucson Mountains, southern Arizona, USA.
This is partly tongue-in-cheek. We do get fall colors here, in the mountains especially, but deciduous trees in the valleys also get fall colors.
I'm sayin' that the spindly plant on the right (Ocotillo, Fouquieria splendens) is in fall colors. That's not really accurate. Ocotillo are drought-deciduous. Their leaves turn yellow and drop off when there hasn't been any rain for a few days. That's what happened here. :)

So nice to see these desert landscapes around Tucson... Many thanks for sharing ! :~)
When I saw the thumbnail, I felt like this place was somewhere I had been before. Well, reading the comment you made, I'm sure I have. :-) Lovely shot and very representative of this desert.
Very nice shot - I like your composition and the scenery is superb.
Excellent and beautiful photography....!!!
A wonderful vista!
Mt Lemon way back on the horizon? Close to home!!
Much different then the brilliant redish oranges of spring! It's a great season for exploring the desert!
