Description
Decided to turn an anime day into an anime week so here for your enjoyment is yet another veritech (variable technology) fighter from the anime series Macross.
The fighters seen here ar the VF-1S variations from the original Macross series. Other variations were the VF-1A, VF-1B a two-seater training version and the VF-1D.
Try to imagine a single or twin seater F-14 Tomcat which can into a giant robot which has either one or two human pilots and you are just starting to get the picture.

Superb, I must admit the idea of F-14's and MiG-29's transforming into battlebots and slugging it out toe to toe has a certain appeal, would save a fortune in Av-Gas.....
Awesome modeling work!
Another great pair of veritech fighers. Love the skull and crossbones on the back. Wonderful!!
Great blend of anime and reality. Excellent render.
As always excellent work on your beautiful space images my friend.
