Description
This is my new poserpro2012 rendition of my beloved Ninshubar, vizier to Ishtar and Goddess of the Wind and Air. Ninshubar was Ishtar's cousin, and in her role as vizier she played a foil to the often hot headed Ishtar. Whereas Ishtar was often in favor of a direct and frontal assault, Ninshubar was more prone to waiting in ambush and hitting the enemy by surprise. Her wise council and ability to keep her cool under fire was legendary. Though cautious by nature, in battle Ninshubar was a brave and fearless warrior who would continue a fight against all odds. A master of the Wind and Air, Ninshubar was an expert with the bow and in casting powerful magical protection spells.
Here I gave Ninshubar new eyes from Gypseyangel. They are lighter and more detailed than her previous dark brown eyes which she shared with Ishtar. Again I reduced the Gamma Correction from the default 2.2 to my preferred 1.1. This deepened her skin tones and added richness to her hair. I applied SSS node in the material room but left these at poser's default settings as I felt this gave her plenty of glow and I liked its slightly smoother skin tones. The overall color richness of the image was beefed up with the DE Soft filter in Adam Wrights Dynamic Mood actions in CS4.

Ohhh, she looks rarin' to go on a new adventure :) Beautiful portrait, Roxy!
Your goddesses are unique, Roxy. This is a very impressive piece of work. Bravo!
Once again, you've knocked me right out of my chair, Roxy! Ninshubar is just out of this world (I know that's pretty normal for a goddess), and her skin tones just radiate her beauty. Another stunning work, my friend! Now you've got me monkeying around with the gamma settings - I spent a good deal of last night playing with it - just amazing. I've got my two favorite secret agents looking pretty good... ;-D Can't wait to see more!
She looks great Roxy! Like the satin look. Nice skintones. Hair looks real soft in that light. They are all looking good.!
With those stunning eyes ,she must have hypnotized more than one! Great lightning and the hair is excellent.

Beautiful work.
This is such an amazing looking portrait Roxie, love all the beautiful details
I love your very beautiful goddess portraits Roxy, again superb work love it.
Very beautiful girl and portrait!!!!
LOL love it! Ninshubar sounds like my kind of gal--I have always been partial to well thought out reaction to adversarial assault myself...although I have had my Isthar moments. Hubby is more like Ishtar and at times feels my lack of movement borders on timidity (that's fire signs for you)...since we are both big believers in balance, it seems so fitting that the goddesses would be such great compliments to one another both with very different fighting styles and strategies but their own very real strengths and definitions of bravery... Your capture of Ninshubar here aptly showcases her divine character beautifully--her face aglow and the backdrop an embrace of elements...
Very beautiful character and wonderful portrait
Gorgeous. She definitely glows and her hair is silken. The amber eyes are quite lively and the image looks great zoomed in. Beautiful work and great info.
