Description
I took a closer look at the original image and realized that the levitron was not out of focus per se, but rather I caught it in the wobble
if you look at the rest of the objects around it, you will see they are in focus - sharp detail.
However that is moot as I have three shots of the device, with the camera on a tripod and various auto and manual shutter settings and lights and yada yada yada.
Enjoy this image
Mike

How interesting. Great posting! Cathy xoxoxo
wow thx interesting.....
Great collage Mike and I like the middle shot just because it does show the wobble and motion. Think about it - that is the draw to the device - the motion. :o)
Great experimantation my friend....!!!
Interesting object - what's it supposed to do?
Very cool collage Mike!!!
Ok Mike, i hold my hands up..sorry dude......your explanation does semm to fit, still superb shot and idea to illustrate this interesting machine, well one things for sure mate, you have us all thinking about our focus and dof :-)
INTERESTING TRIO
I just think this is a way cool toy and I want one :-)
what a cool thingy. I like the shots, here, too. the last one caution the motion excellent! well done!
Does it work with magnetic repulsion? That makes me very curious! Fantastic photo!
Yep, the wobble is clearly evident in these shots. That's a cool little gadget, Mike! Just the kind of thing I'd probably buy if I saw it in a shop.... And of course, now I'll be looking for one! LOL!
Now that I got a better look I am sure that is the probe the aliens used on Mikeerson after they abducted him. I think it was the womble part that gave him his current personality.
This is cool. Something else to transfix me and slow down my productivity (which is not exactly breaking records now.) Still... it is mesmerizing! Excellent shots!
I love how you posted this .. at each stage of it's spin, so we get a clear shot, a slightly fuzzy and full wobble! coolness.
