It looks quite elegant, but aside from it being an automobile, I'm not of much use. Beautiful crisp photography though.
You don't show much of it, but with the portholes on the side,it has to be a Buick. I think it's a '56.
1955 Buick Century:) My best friend's parents while I was in high school had one of these. It was quite a boat to drive. BTW is the license plate on your car in this picture CH-4008? And is it a convertible? :-)))

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this appears to be an object of largely metallic origin, probably used by humans for a purpose. I could be wrong as I'm not an expert in this field. What a nice shot. I love the color and the shape. Super composition.
'56 Buick, I had a hard top in about 1962 and I loved it.
Well, I was going to say it was a 56 Buick Roadmaster. On closer inspection, however, I see that Bill is right, it's a 55 Century. Ah, yes, another wonderful boat from the 'why-use-one-pound-of-steel-when-twenty-pounds-will-work-just-as-nicely' school of auto design.Great shot and I love the color and crisp clarity.

Looks like a 57 Buick to me, but I was only 8 years old at that time' so I'm thinkin' it could be a 58.

Well done - those "portholes" were, as I recall - a Buick trademark in the mid-fifties. This is a great shot. I love how just a small glimpse can trigger so many reactions in the viewers.
I learned to drive in a 1942 Buick Roadmaster with a 1946 engine. It was right after WWII. Had an automatic transmission. The grill had chrome bars I called Tiger Teeth. It had a center post in the windshield with a sunvisor attached. It was Midnight Blue. Great old car. Gorgeous shot. Like the POV.
