Description
Jackdaws are considered to be very intelligent, and an article I read showed one winning "Bird brain of Britain! It was given a bit of wire and in a bottle were some meal worms in a small bucket. It bent the end of the wire into a hook and then put this down into the bottom of the bottle to fish out the bucket with worms!

We don't have them here, but we do have crows .. very clever birds. The grey is such a beautiful shade, softening the stark black.
Not only is it very intelligent but by this photo it looks as though it knows it, a very self assured regal looking bird! Excellent photo and perfect clarity.
increadible story and a wonderful illustration... they're really smart. I remember one playing with my spaniel Mona a couple of years ago. it used to make a row of close-shave flights over her everytime we met. then it landed on the ground and waited for a treat given at once. those who didn't see couldn't believe...
