...I went back to my file of shots taken in the Crain Communications Building to see what images I had of the dome and found this.
...Chip taking the picture he posted yesterday. No collusion, honest:)
...Chicago was a blast with four ninjas taking to the street this day (Chip, Corey, Tara and me).

Very cool capture of Chip and his capture
way to go. getting in shots that have the RR people there working they thing. this is cool
WOW! This is a cool, nicely self referential shot, well...in a way...I didn't take the picture so there's no real self-reference in it. Oh well...it's a great shot and I love the way in which I appear mostly in silhouette. I like the buildings outside of the window as well...they bring the whole shot together due to their Gothic architectual inclinations, which play well with the flagrantly fancy baroque interior of this building and me being decidedly non-baroque, though I can approach rococo when I need a haircut. I love the colors in this as well as all of the exciting shapes and curvy bits. That was a fantastic day and repeats are always welcome. I distinctly remember diet coke and pecan sandies a bit later, and lots and lots of talking about everything with oddly Soviet music on YouTube before switching to Patti Smith and Flip Wilson! Ah, that was a brilliant day!
Great shot, Bill! Wonderful surroundings, and even better with an artist at work! :-D
Some great looking doors here love the scroll work design and really like it where you can see the other buildings while inside also like you getting the pic of Chip as well Four ninja's indeed....but I bet you all had a blast:) I know I would if I was able to do something like this Your 4 are together............and PJ or Mrs Lubner and Flannelman and Jocko?I think are off on a venture as well.......... Must be a rendersoity get together month............... I know you all are having a great time and I bet great food too..............and good comfy hotel beds Great image here Hugs Susan~
Great to put Chip's pic in context, and this a such a fascinating photo, with so much to see. It is good to realise that sometimes there is a little airspace between those towering buildings!
What a fun and beautiful shot this is. Excellent shot and fun to connect to the one Chip uplosded :-)))
Super shot and silhouette Bill, I bet you had a great time.
Now all we need is the picture of someone taking the picture of you taking the picture of Chip. Great post Bill :)
fabulous image
:o) Lovely capture, bet you all had a wonderful time!!
So cool! I love that pic that he took and I love yours! Great "teamwork"! Hehe...
Is that Chip taking the picture in your picture? Lovely shot, especially fascinating to see it in relation to his. You guys must have had a blast!
Very cool capture of Chip, Bill!!!!
Superb capture. Wonderful image
Oooooohh! I have a picture of the outside of those windows with the clock tower reflecting. :D When we get home I'll have to work one of them up. This is great! It's exciting that you had a picture of Chip taking that picture. Nicely done!
I saw watched the movie 'Source Code' last night - I am going to have to visit Chicago too! Lots of detail to see, Clive
Exceptional....
Odd, I could swear I posted a comment on this yesterday, what now are they removing our comments, Nice work, great to see Chip having fun with his camera, what its all about after all.
I was about to comment on Chip's picture and saw your link. What fun! It's great to see it in context and to see Chip in the process. I guess the triangular dark brown bit in his image is triangular because of the shape of the dome. I like that dark triangle. Excellent shot! I love the vertical lines including those of the buildings outside and of Chip. (He makes a nice vertical line. I'd be more like the shape on a billboard in one of his recent posts.) Beautiful composition, color, and detail.
Well seen and captured Bill!
Nice shot Bill! Like the details in the upper arch and wonderful background buildings.
