Description
...we spent today driving from Provo, Utah up through Provo Canyon along Highway 189 to see these beautiful falls and an array of fall colors second to none.
...Bridal Veil Falls is spring fed, 607 feet (185m) high and falls in a double cascade.
...There is also a falls by this name in Yosemite National Park and one at Niagara Falls as well as in several other states...but for us today...this was the best of all:)

wow the colors and the action of the water is super here.
I had no idea there were so many falls with this name, but you can sure see why--wow!!
Wow - that is spectacular, Bill! Gorgeous falls, and just look at all the colors in there! Superb shot, my friend! Like I told Tara, it's just kinda blah back here... :-P Gray and cold today... A good day to stay inside and play with Poser! LOL!
Gorgeous shot of the whole thing! Such a pleasant surprise to find so much water flowing at this time of year. Your discovery that it's spring fed puts it all together. Beautiful image!
Gorgeous water falls have one of the same name here in NZ I think most countries probably have one lol.. Beautiful!!
beautiful colors blend in the thoughts warm hugs smile too, Linda
There is also one in Alberta's Jasper National Park, but the one you have shown has the best 'bridal' shape of all I think!
WOW! What a fabulous capture, Sigh! it is beautiful. The rocks against the fall plants and bushed and the falling water. Love it.
Awesome capture.
Wow Bill, this is an awesome capture!!! It has everything, great Autumn colors, light, and detail, and very wonderfully composed!!!! Oh, and a great POV!!

Very impressive bit of photography....
You will have to visit the one of the same name in the Eastern Transvaal ( old name, I forget the new one). Great shutter speed to capture the 'drop blur'! Clive

Woah very awesome and way high...beautiful Bill!
What a very special place you found on your trip today. This is a wonderful capture with the falls and the autumn colours.
It really looks like a bridal veil, a double one at that! And looks nicer than the one in Yosemite (more like a bridal veil, that is to say). Nice angle! Keep up the good work! :-)
Nature has a way of doing the amazing on a day-to-day basis. This is a perfect example of that. The colors are, as Andrea says, outrageous in the most perfect way and the whole bit of scenery is just perfect. This is what one misses when living in a city. Ah, cities have their own beauty, but I think that too many modern cities are absolutely divorced from the world around them. That leads to some rather...um...interesting psychological and spiritual maladies, and seeing this lets me know that there are antidotes to that. And what a shot this is. I love that double cascade and the colors are deliriously gorgeous. This is a super shot!
so beautiful it is almost like a dream
Very nice capture. I like the autumn colors very much. Well done.
