Description
I put this in the photo manipulation category because both the little mansion and the creek scene are photos. But maybe it's not in the right gallery .. because I tubed the mansion out of the photo of it. So it might be a 2D .. or a Mixed Media. Who knows. Mrs.Lubner does, and I know she'll help me out! Thanks PJ, grins.
No matter where this image belongs, it's visions I see at the Hollow. They don't often translate from what I see to a photo .. you know how these mystical, magical things sometimes are. They don't like to be photographed, so sometimes I have to do it from memory.
This day, I saw it, but when I downloaded the photos, it wasn't there.
This is the same creek as in the previous posting, but looking in the opposite direction and take on a different day. I love this little creek, and I must have a thousand or more shots of it. Murphy and I have seen many things here. We've taken many walks in the creek in the summer. Makes for some wonderful memories.
Many thanks for the warm comments on the previous post and the faves.
Been home for a few days now, and doing the usual catching up. Maybe by spring I'll be all caught up, (-:

PS: what seems to be a reflection of the little mansion in the creek is actually not, it's the reflection of the yellow leaves above, and it was in the perfect spot!
I really love this superb capture !!
Mixed Medium? Anyway, its very artistic. & really cool. ")
I think it is great! So many things stir in my mind looking at it. Very inspiring.
splendid and well ùmanipulated shots !!! what a wonderful creativity !!!
Beautiful, and thank you for your kind words about my photography, I did not do the photography for my daughters wedding but I did have and take some photos of course. and I am currently trying to put together a wedding video fun but lots of work I am learning as I go here. happy Sunday
looks wonderful...lighting and reflections !! excellent manip !!
wow this is cool work here. i see a big animal print on the rock with a R circle on it too. best watch out as night comes around there. maybe the big animal is protecting the castle
Oh Rita, this is remarkable! What a magical place your Hollow is. Over these years of you showing it, I've come to feel that it truly is that, a magical and mystical place. You are so fortunate to spend precious time there. The wee castle here is a joy and so imaginatively presented. I truly love it!!
No matter what category you want to put it in Rita this one is so cool, and one of the best images I've seen in a long time
Really cool, but I thik that scale is not correct...
outstanding work no matter the genre
Sweet!!
Different perspectives, how they can fool us :-) Often I long for that. To see the world in a new perspective, not only the one I am used too, So much we miss. Love your image!!
Very nicely done!!!
Very fine image,Rita, it portrays the magic of the Hollow. There are certain places on this Planet that are "Doorways" to other realities. and I firmly believe that the Hollow is one of them. John Keel, who wrote the "Moth Man Prophecies", referred to them as window areas. Outstanding work!!!!!
nice photo hon, well take Rita.
Wow Rita, what a wonderful magical place you have found here and the fae will love having this castle to shelter in. Marvellous captures made into a mystical place and that reflection is soooo.... right. I love these sort of places you can let your imagination run wild. Superb work and I would have put it in photo manip. as you have done.
I thought it was a little Mansion, and I liked how you etched your initial in the rock! ;)
Very stunning find in the Hollow! the faes must think you're special to allow you to see one of their castles

Seamless magic you make! I love it. I know exactly what you mean about not being able to capture the sight...it's gone in a wink! I'm crazy about the wee world that thrives on the forest floor.
