WONDERFUL SHOT
Either a giant bee, or a very small flower, in this finely focused foto, Dana.
LOVELY
very lovely
A deliteful close-up image.I like the flower that is past its prime season.
Wonderful shot! :)
Great shot Dana! So far as I can see it is a Hoverfly who tricks its enemies by looking like a bee! I it easy to be mistaken but their heads are quite different in shape and eyes - and bees have two pair of wings when Hoverflies only have one pair as other flies. I have always been very interested in these elegantly and fine colored insects from childhood, who concerning flowers have a similar job as bees. :o)
