yep! great capture
wonderful shot
Super colors and such a bleak place...at least historically, but then history is a rather bleak thing when you stop and count the bodies, and there are so many of them. I think this captures that most gracefully and gives history a different sort of life, one that's desperately needed; your photo inspires an in-depth Google, and that's never a bad thing. Your bits and pieces treatment does what all good writing does: it turns history into something more appealing than indigestible lumps of exposition. That's always a good thing and I'm glad it works as well with photography as it does with writing. I like this a lot!
Excellent composition. It gives a very strong feeling of gravesites abandoned and forgotten.
Breathtaking! I like the ethereal glow around the stones..very clever!
THis is such a beautiful, soft and warm capture. Wonderful indeed.
Wonderful capture!
Beautiful evocative capture with gentle warm colours
Beautiful and sweet.
wonderful capture and mood !!
Beautifully handled Tara! Really a lovely atmospheric image.
Richly haunting and beautiful...
lovely work
Awesome capture!!
What a contrast to your previous post! Death, isolation, loneliness. Yet beautiful colors. As my brother once wrote me "Pomposity leads to dire circumstances". Never underestimate another human being. Keep up the good work! :-)
The colors of the grasses are so beautiful. A nice shot of history for those of us that will never get there to see this in person.
Oh Hun - this is most divine. Very peaceful and serene. Wonderful shot.
Great atmosphere and colors !
A wonderful overgrown graveyard but I think of a better place to be buried.
Beautifully poignant.
Great image Lonely and haunting at the same time I don't like this new system...going through the gallerys Can't do this every night This is a fav hugs susan~
Nicely composed Tara!
I agree with Chip, the way this is presented is a nice mixture of the natural terrain, the human legacy of our own history, and the passing of the seasons. I love the colors, the superb composition, and the contrasts. Knowing where this is makes this a somber image, but also a very beautiful one.
