Description
I was on my own with Joey today walking round the park.
Not a good idea to try and take photos with the lead wrapped around your trigger hand and kneeling down.
Shortly after this snap something startled Joey, and off he went like startled cattle. An even shorter moment later I am flat on my back desperately trying to pull 30KG of Joey back with my arm trapped around the lead and making sure my camera's didn't hit the concrete with my free arm.
Fortunately there were no spectators and even luckier there were no others with cameras!
Moral of the story. Either tie the dog up or get someone else to hold the lead when balancing two cameras on your knees...

Time to get out that little point and shoot. A missed opportunity for me..Damn!
Nice shot ! And a known story... I went through the same experience... :~)
Great shot.
no pain no gain...lol
Of course you did get the shot! That lead swan is kicking up some little bow wave.
PRECIOSA.
Yeah I experience the same problem frequently! Regarding this photo, I think it's DOF is perfect, and what particularly grabs me are the perfect little bow waves. Well done. Perfect focus on the lead swan's face and the little drip is an added bonus. Composition perfect.
Awww what a fine looking swan, your photography is superb, I love the pov and the water spray, really beautiful, hugs Jane xx
